Global X Funds – Global X PureCap MSCI Communication Services ETF (NYSE Arca: GXPC) is a U.S.-domiciled exchange-traded fund that provides market-capitalization-weighted exposure to U.S.-listed companies classified in the Communication Services sector under the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS). The Fund seeks investment results that generally correspond, before fees and expenses, to the price and yield performance of the MSCI USA Communication Services Index. GXPC offers an uncapped, passive equity-investment vehicle designed to provide transparent sector exposure through a single exchange-traded security; invests primarily in common stocks of communication-services issuers, including media and entertainment, telecommunications services, and software and services companies; and may use representative sampling, including investments in index constituent securities, exchange-traded funds, and securities with substantially similar risk and performance characteristics, to track its underlying index. The portfolio applies free-float market-capitalization weighting without index-level company-weight caps, subject to regulated-investment-company diversification requirements, resulting in concentrated exposure to large U.S. communication-services companies such as Alphabet Inc., Meta Platforms Inc., Netflix Inc., Verizon Communications Inc., The Walt Disney Co., AT&T Inc., Comcast Corp. and T-Mobile US Inc. Launched in July 2025, GXPC is managed by Global X Management Company LLC, a New York-based ETF sponsor and investment adviser, and serves investors seeking liquid, tax-efficient, systematically rebalanced exposure to the U.S. Communication Services sector. Recent developments include the Fund’s July 2025 launch as part of Global X’s PureCap ETF lineup, expanding the sponsor’s sector-product offering with an uncapped MSCI USA Communication Services strategy; as of August 31, 2026, media and entertainment represented approximately 89.6% of portfolio exposure, telecommunications services 9.3%, and software and services 1.1%.
