Global X Funds – Global X PureCap MSCI Consumer Discretionary ETF is a non-diversified, passively managed exchange-traded fund that provides investors with uncapped, free-float market-capitalization-weighted exposure to U.S.-listed companies classified in the Consumer Discretionary sector under the MSCI and S&P Dow Jones Indices Global Industry Classification Standard. Launched on July 22, 2025, and listed on NYSE Arca under ticker GXPD, the fund seeks investment results that generally correspond, before fees and expenses, to the price and yield performance of the MSCI USA Consumer Discretionary Index. The fund is advised by Global X Management Company LLC, which is headquartered in New York, New York, and its shares are distributed through broker-dealers and trade in the secondary market. GXPD invests primarily in U.S. consumer discretionary equities, including securities of companies engaged in broadline and specialty retail; e-commerce and consumer-discretionary distribution; automobiles and auto components; hotels, restaurants and leisure; consumer services; household durables; leisure products; and textiles, apparel and luxury goods. The fund generally invests at least 80% of net assets, plus borrowings for investment purposes, in consumer discretionary-sector securities or investments with comparable economic characteristics; it employs representative sampling, may invest in sector-related ETFs and leveraged single-stock ETFs, and may lend securities. The underlying MSCI index is rebalanced and reconstituted quarterly, has no maximum constituent-weight limits, and thereby permits substantial concentration in the sector’s largest issuers; GXPD’s portfolio has significant exposure to broadline retail and, as of August 31, 2026, its largest holdings include Amazon.com Inc., Tesla Inc., The Home Depot Inc., McDonald’s Corp., TJX Cos. Inc., Booking Holdings Inc., Starbucks Corp., Lowe’s Cos. Inc., MercadoLibre Inc. and General Motors Co. GXPD offers a single-trade vehicle for targeted U.S. consumer-discretionary exposure, with systematic index rebalancing, daily liquidity and potential ETF tax efficiency; it has a 0.25% management fee and a contractual expense waiver or reimbursement that reduces net annual operating expenses to 0.15% through at least April 1, 2027. The principal recent development is the fund’s July 2025 launch as part of Global X’s PureCap MSCI sector ETF lineup, followed by a July 30, 2025 fee-waiver arrangement and the April 1, 2026 prospectus update, which reflects the fund’s ongoing strategy of tracking the MSCI USA Consumer Discretionary Index and its use of representative sampling, potential sector ETF investments and potential leveraged single-stock ETF exposure.
