Global X PureCapSM MSCI Information Technology ETF (NYSE Arca: GXPT) is a U.S.-domiciled exchange-traded fund series of Global X Funds, a Delaware statutory trust, that provides investment exposure to the U.S. information technology sector. The Fund seeks investment results that generally correspond, before fees and expenses, to the MSCI USA Information Technology Index, which measures the performance of U.S. large- and mid-capitalization companies classified in the information technology sector. GXPT offers investors a market-capitalization-weighted portfolio of U.S. technology securities without issuer-weight caps, including companies engaged in semiconductors and semiconductor equipment; software; technology hardware, storage and peripherals; communications equipment; electronic equipment, instruments and components; and IT services. The Fund’s portfolio includes major U.S. technology companies such as NVIDIA Corp., Apple Inc., Microsoft Corp., Broadcom Inc. and Micron Technology Inc. GXPT issues and redeems shares through authorized participants and is traded on NYSE Arca, serving institutional investors, financial advisers and individual investors seeking sector-specific U.S. equity exposure. GXPT commenced operations on July 22, 2025, and is headquartered through its adviser at 605 Third Avenue, New York, New York. The Fund was launched in July 2025 as part of Global X’s PureCapSM Suite, a five-ETF sector lineup designed to provide uncapped market-capitalization-weighted exposure to selected U.S. sectors, including information technology, consumer discretionary, communication services, consumer staples and energy. In a significant post-launch operating change, Global X implemented an expense limitation agreement effective July 30, 2025, reducing GXPT’s total annual operating expenses from 0.25% to 0.15% of average daily net assets; the arrangement is scheduled to remain in effect through at least April 1, 2027.
