Business
Microware Group Limited is an investment holding company primarily engaged in providing information technology (IT) infrastructure solutions and IT managed services. The company's core products and services include the procurement of semiconductor products, hardware, and software; design and integration of IT infrastructure solutions; maintenance, support, and management of IT systems; as well as consultancy and advisory services. Microware operates across Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore, and other overseas markets, establishing an international technology presence. Founded in 1985 and headquartered in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong, Microware is listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (stock code: 1985.HK). In recent developments, Microware has strategically expanded its AI infrastructure solutions business through the establishment of two wholly-owned subsidiaries in Shanghai, China. The company also entered a partnership with GAREA TECH to advance AI-driven digital transformation within Hong Kong’s primary healthcare sector. Despite facing a 67% profit decline in the first half of fiscal 2025 due to increased operating expenses linked to business development in Mainland China, Microware continues to focus on its core business along with partnerships with key vendors to maintain its industry leadership. Recent corporate actions include share placements and acquisitions by key shareholders, as well as the implementation of share award schemes to incentivize employees. The company remains committed to expanding business opportunities and integrating artificial intelligence technologies across its service offerings.
