- New Concepts Holdings Limited, an investment holding company incorporated in the Cayman Islands in 2014 and headquartered in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong, engages primarily in environmental protection and construction businesses across Hong Kong and Mainland China. The company operates through two main segments: environmental protection, encompassing kitchen waste treatment plants including food waste disposal facilities for urban biomass biorefining and carbon sequestration, development and management of environmental protection industrial parks, and new energy materials such as graphene-based anode materials; and construction work, including foundation works such as bored piles, socketed H-piles (SHP), site formation, earth retaining structures (ELS), pile cap works, mini-piling, shear pile works, interlock pipe piles, excavation, lateral supports, and groundwater flow works (GIFW), as well as civil engineering and general building works. It serves municipal governments, industrial clients, and construction sectors with operations concentrated in the People's Republic of China, including recent projects in Jiangsu and Shanxi provinces.
In the past two years, the company has pursued strategic expansions, including in April 2024 the acquisition by a subsidiary of 100% equity interest in Shanxi Tianhe Biotechnology Co., Ltd. to enter the animal carcass disposal segment supported by a local government concession agreement. In June 2025, it entered into an agreement with Haimen Economic and Technological Development Zone to invest USD3.60 million (approximately HK$28.35 million) in a new kitchen waste treatment project in Haimen District, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, designed to process up to 200 tons per day of food waste at full capacity with an initial phase of 100 tons per day; this involves establishing a wholly-owned project company, acquiring land through public bidding, and receiving infrastructure support and assistance for exclusive operating rights. Further, in August 2024, it signed an acquisition agreement involving Huamingsheng and Bakusi related to operational enhancements, while advancing production facilities for graphene-based materials across Xuancheng, Hefei, and Yixing plants using proceeds from convertible bonds and share issuances.
