Business
Astrum Financial Holdings Limited (8333.HK), formerly RaffAello-Astrum Financial Holdings Limited, is an investment holding company principally engaged in providing financial services in Hong Kong; its core offerings include online brokerage and futures trading services, securities dealing, placing and underwriting services, corporate finance advisory services, asset management services, and financing services encompassing securities and initial public offering (IPO) financing. The company, incorporated in 2015 and headquartered in Admiralty, Hong Kong, operates primarily in the investment banking and brokerage sector, targeting retail and institutional clients within the Hong Kong market, and is a subsidiary of Autumn Ocean Limited with approximately 38 employees. In September 2022, it changed its name from RaffAello-Astrum Financial Holdings Limited to its current name; earlier, in September 2021, it acquired a 25% stake in RS (BVI) Holdings Limited for HK$32.9 million to expand IPO placing and underwriting opportunities, though this led to an impairment loss due to underperformance; additionally, in December 2021, its subsidiary Power Gate Capital Limited obtained a money lenders license under Hong Kong's Money Lenders Ordinance to support financing activities.
