- BGI Group Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Vinaconex 7 Joint Stock Company, is a Vietnam-based enterprise primarily engaged in real estate investment and development, civil and industrial construction contracting, and the production and commercial distribution of building materials. The company organizes its operations across three core business segments: Real Estate Development, Construction and Installation, and Building Materials. In its Real Estate Development segment, the company invests in, develops, and manages integrated master-planned urban townships, commercial properties, low-rise residential units, luxury villas, shophouses, and high-rise condominiums, with flagship developments comprising BGI Topaz Downtown and BGI Diamond Bay in the An Van Duong New Urban Area in Thua Thien Hue Province, as well as the Bich Dong New Urban Area in Bac Giang Province. In its Construction and Installation segment, the company operates as a general contractor and EPC provider delivering structural engineering and construction for high-rise residential towers and commercial centers; industrial plants, factories, and warehousing facilities; transport infrastructure including arterial roads, bridges, and highways; municipal water supply and drainage networks; and electrical power transmission systems and transformation substations. In its Building Materials segment, the company manufactures and markets precast concrete structures; ready-mix concrete; reinforced concrete centrifugal pipes; and quarry aggregates, while also providing construction machinery leasing, technical testing, and material trading services. In addition, the company offers real estate brokerage, property management, architectural design, and engineering consultancy services. BGI Group primarily serves municipal authorities, commercial developers, industrial clients, and residential homebuyers across northern and central Vietnam, with core operational footprints in Hanoi, Thua Thien Hue, Bac Giang, and Hoa Binh. In recent corporate developments, BGI Group doubled its charter capital to VND 960.9 billion via a rights offering to fund ongoing infrastructure and residential construction across its primary urban development projects; strengthened its co-investment alliance with IUC Group (IUC Joint Stock Company) to execute mixed-use urban properties; broadened its long-term project pipeline to include social housing initiatives across target markets in Hanoi and Hai Phong; advanced the commercial rollout and handover phases of its BGI Diamond Bay and BGI Topaz Downtown projects; reinstated cash dividend payouts to shareholders; and initiated corporate restructuring initiatives to consolidate regional project entities, including Viet Yen Real Estate. Founded in 1993 as a state-owned construction enterprise under the Vinaconex Corporation before undergoing privatization and subsequent rebranding in 2020, BGI Group Joint Stock Company is headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam, and is listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol VC7.
