In recent developments, BIDV has executed major strategic shifts centered on digital transformation, wealth management expansion, and sustainable green finance. The bank entered into a strategic partnership with Edmond de Rothschild to introduce specialized private banking and tailored wealth management services for ultra-high-net-worth individuals in Vietnam. To advance its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) framework, BIDV has expanded its green credit portfolio by securing significant sustainable financing facilities and climate-focused credit lines from international development partners, including the Agence Française de Développement and the Asian Development Bank, targeted at renewable energy, energy efficiency, and climate transition projects. In addition, building on its core strategic equity partnership with South Korea-based Hana Bank, BIDV has deepened integration across cross-border corporate services and digital platforms, while its securities subsidiary, BSC, completed a strategic alliance and capital enhancement with Hana Securities to expand digital brokerage and regional investment banking capabilities.
