Binh Thanh Import-Export Production & Trade JSC, operating under the trade name Gilimex, is a Vietnam-based manufacturing and infrastructure enterprise primarily engaged in the production and export of consumer textiles, home storage solutions, and the development and operation of industrial real estate. Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the company operates across two core business segments: Manufacturing and Trading, and Industrial Real Estate and Infrastructure. Under its Manufacturing and Trading division, Gilimex produces a diverse range of functional textile products and storage systems for consumer and commercial applications. The company's core product and service portfolio includes: household storage and organizational products, comprising collapsible fabric storage bins, wardrobe organizers, modular shelving containers, laundry hampers, and drawer organizers; outdoor, travel, and recreational gear, including backpacks, duffel bags, soft-sided coolers, sports bags, and specialized luggage; home textiles and kitchen accessories, consisting of aprons, oven mitts, cushions, and table linens; and technical industrial textiles, featuring fabric pods, automated storage bin systems, and modular textile containers engineered for automated warehousing and fulfillment robotics. Gilimex exports its manufactured goods to major international markets, including the United States, the European Union, Japan, and other Asia-Pacific economies, while operating manufacturing and processing facilities across southern and central Vietnam. Through its Industrial Real Estate division and dedicated operating subsidiaries, including Gilimex Industrial Park JSC, the company engages in the investment, development, construction, leasing, and management of large-scale industrial park infrastructure, standardized ready-built factories, and logistics warehouses. Major infrastructure assets include the Gilimex Thua Thien Hue Industrial Park in central Vietnam, spanning more than 460 hectares, and the Gilimex Vinh Long Industrial Park in the Mekong Delta region, targeted at light industries, electronics assembly, logistics providers, and clean technology manufacturers. In addition, the company participates in auxiliary commercial trading, logistics services, and hospitality investments. In recent corporate and strategic developments, Gilimex has undergone a significant operational transformation to diversify its revenue streams and reduce client concentration risk. Following the restructuring of its historical contract manufacturing portfolio, the company has actively diversified its global manufacturing customer base across Europe and Asia while substantially expanding its capital deployment into industrial park development. Recent initiatives include securing land development approvals and accelerating multi-phase infrastructure construction and tenant onboarding at its flagship industrial parks in Thua Thien Hue and Vinh Long, establishing specialized subsidiaries to manage real estate assets, modernizing factory automation systems to increase production efficiency, and broadening investments in industrial support services and hotel properties.
