Business
Vicem Ha Tien Cement Joint Stock Company is a Vietnam-based building materials enterprise primarily engaged in the manufacturing, processing, and distribution of cement, clinker, and related construction products. The company operates through two primary business segments: Cement and Clinker Production, and Construction Materials and Support Services. Its product offerings include various grades of blended and ordinary Portland cement marketed under the Ha Tien brand, such as Portland Cement Blended PCB30, PCB40, and PCB50; Ordinary Portland Cement PC40 and PC50; specialized cements comprising high sulfate-resistant cement, moderate sulfate-resistant cement, low-heat hydration cement, blast-furnace slag cement, and masonry cement (MC25); commercial Portland clinker; ready-mixed concrete; dry-mixed mortar; and quarry aggregates. Additionally, the company provides domestic marine and road freight transport, port stevedoring, warehousing, industrial equipment maintenance, and industrial waste co-processing services. Vicem Ha Tien serves residential, commercial, industrial, and civil infrastructure sectors primarily across Southern Vietnam and the Mekong Delta, supported by an integrated manufacturing and distribution network that includes clinker production facilities and grinding stations located in Kien Giang, Binh Phuoc, Ho Chi Minh City, Long An, and Khanh Hoa. In recent operational developments, the company has advanced its decarbonization and circular economy roadmap by expanding the co-processing of alternative fuels and raw materials—utilizing industrial solid waste, sludge, and biomass in its clinker kilns to substitute traditional fossil fuels—while deploying waste heat recovery (WHR) power generation systems to curb electrical grid reliance, rolling out low-carbon eco-labeled cement product lines to comply with tightening sustainable construction standards, and modernizing its supply chain and riverway logistics network to improve regional distribution efficiency. Founded in 1964 as the Ha Tien Cement Plant, Vicem Ha Tien Cement Joint Stock Company operates as a core subsidiary of the state-owned Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation (VICEM) and is headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
