Business
Hanoi Plastics Joint Stock Company is a Vietnam-based manufacturing enterprise primarily engaged in the design, engineering, and manufacture of high-precision technical plastic components, industrial injection molds, and supporting industrial products. Founded in 1972 and headquartered in Long Bien District, Hanoi, Vietnam, the company operates as a core industrial subsidiary within the ecosystem of An Phat Holdings and is listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol NHH. The company serves as a Tier-1 and Tier-2 component supplier for multinational original equipment manufacturers across the automotive, motorcycle, consumer electronics, telecommunications, and industrial logistics sectors in Vietnam and international export markets. The company operates across several integrated business segments, offering a comprehensive portfolio of products and manufacturing services, which include: automotive and motorcycle components, such as interior trim, exterior panels, dashboard sub-assemblies, air ducts, lighting housings, mudguards, and structural plastic parts for four-wheel and two-wheel vehicles; electrical and electronic components, including precision plastic casings, chassis parts, internal brackets, terminal components, and acoustic parts for home appliances, office automation machinery, and telecommunication devices; precision tooling and mold engineering, encompassing the design, computer numerical control machining, electrical discharge machining, fabrication, and maintenance of high-precision injection molds and stamping dies; industrial packaging and material handling solutions, comprising heavy-duty plastic pallets, logistic crates, storage containers, bins, and custom industrial trays; and building materials and commercial plastic products, including stone plastic composite flooring panels, architectural trims, and specialized food-service plastic wares. Hanoi Plastics conducts its manufacturing and engineering activities through modern production facilities in northern Vietnam and through dedicated operating subsidiaries, including An Trung Industries Joint Stock Company, which focuses on precision electronic components; Vietnam Pattern Manufacture and Precision Mechanical Company, specializing in advanced mold fabrication; and Viexim Import-Export Joint Stock Company. The company maintains long-term original equipment manufacturing and supply relationships with leading global corporations, including Honda, Toyota, Piaggio, VinFast, Samsung, LG Electronics, Panasonic, Brother, and Foxconn. In recent corporate developments, Hanoi Plastics has undergone strategic ownership restructuring and major capacity expansions to strengthen its position in the regional supporting industry supply chain. In 2024, parent entity An Phat Holdings restructured its equity holdings by transferring an approximately 15.3 percent stake in Hanoi Plastics to its flagship manufacturing arm, An Phat Bioplastics Joint Stock Company, establishing An Phat Bioplastics as the direct controlling parent company with a majority shareholding of approximately 62.75 percent to consolidate industrial plastics operations. Concurrently, the company has driven large-scale capital investments through subsidiary An Trung Industries to develop a high-tech manufacturing facility at the An Phat 1 Industrial Park in Hai Duong Province, representing an investment exceeding 1.15 trillion Vietnamese dong. This facility is engineered to add an annual manufacturing capacity of over 15,500 metric tons of precision technical plastics and 340 mold sets to fulfill growing component demand from global technology and automotive manufacturers while expanding into eco-friendly and high-value-added polymer solutions.
