iShares Trust—iShares iBonds 2033 Term High Yield and Income ETF is a U.S.-domiciled, exchange-traded fixed-income fund sponsored and distributed by BlackRock Investments, LLC, an affiliate of BlackRock, Inc. The fund provides investors with targeted exposure to a diversified portfolio of U.S.-dollar-denominated, taxable, fixed-rate corporate debt securities, including high-yield and BBB-rated bonds, scheduled to mature or be called between January 1, 2033 and December 15, 2033. It seeks to track the Bloomberg 2033 Term High Yield and Income Index and offers exchange-traded shares under the ticker IBHM on Cboe. The fund’s principal services comprise defined-maturity bond exposure; diversified corporate-credit portfolio access; income-oriented investment distributions; bond-laddering implementation; and a planned liquidation and distribution of substantially all net assets in its stated maturity year. As a term ETF, IBHM is designed to hold bonds with maturities aligned to 2033, transition its portfolio into cash and cash-like instruments as the termination date approaches, and cease trading following its planned December 2033 termination. The fund serves individual investors, financial advisers, wealth managers, institutions and other investors seeking a high-yield fixed-income allocation with a specified maturity horizon. IBHM was launched in 2026 as part of BlackRock’s iShares iBonds ETF franchise expansion, announced in March 2026, which added nine defined-maturity ETFs spanning U.S. Treasury, Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities, investment-grade corporate, high-yield and municipal-bond strategies. The iShares iBonds platform, first introduced by BlackRock in 2010, is intended to combine the defined-maturity characteristics of individual bonds with the liquidity, diversification and exchange-traded access of ETFs. iShares is BlackRock’s global ETF business; BlackRock, founded in 1988 and headquartered in New York, New York, provides investment-management, risk-management and financial-technology services globally.
