Voya Index Solution 2050 Portfolio Class I (IDXQX) is a target-date fund of funds managed by Voya Investment Management Co. LLC that seeks total return consistent with an asset allocation targeted at retirement in approximately 2050; on the target date, it shifts to provide a combination of total return and stability of principal. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in a combination of passively managed index underlying funds providing exposure to traditional asset classes including U.S. large blend stocks, international equities, emerging markets, U.S. mid- and small-cap stocks, core fixed income, long government bonds, and short-duration instruments; top holdings as of October 31, 2025, include Voya VACS Index Series S Portfolio (55.75%), Voya VACS Index Series I Portfolio (23.78%), and Voya VACS Index Series EM Portfolio (6.84%). Launched on October 3, 2011, with Class I shares, the portfolio forms part of Voya Financial, Inc.'s suite of ten Index Solution target-date funds designed primarily for long-term investors in tax-advantaged accounts such as variable annuities, variable life insurance separate accounts, qualified pension and retirement plans under IRC Sections 401, 403(b), and 457(b); it targets individuals planning retirement between 2048 and 2052, currently emphasizing wealth accumulation through a glide path that gradually becomes more conservative. Voya Financial, headquartered in New York, New York, and originating from operations established in 1975 (with the modern entity rebranded in 2013 following its separation from ING Group), operates globally with a focus on retirement, investment management, and employee benefits solutions. Recent developments at Voya Financial include a July 2025 strategic partnership with Blue Owl Capital to develop private markets investment products for defined contribution retirement plans and explore collaborations in insurance asset management; the launch of actively managed ETFs in November 2025, such as Voya Ultra Short Income ETF (VUSI) and Voya Core Bond ETF (VCOB); and a September 2024 expansion of non-core investment solutions within its Advisor Managed Accounts program to enhance participant exposure to diverse asset classes.
