VanEck Dynamic High Income ETF (INC) is an actively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks to provide high current income with consideration for capital appreciation by investing primarily in high-yielding U.S.-listed exchange-traded products (ETPs) across equity income and fixed income segments of the market. The fund employs a tactical three-step process to identify unique sources of yield among high income-generating ETFs, optimize the portfolio for maximum yield per unit of risk using volatility and correlation data, and adapt allocations via relative momentum to overweight top-performing assets while exploiting pricing anomalies; its equity income sleeve targets dividend-paying stocks, business development companies (BDCs), preferred securities, mortgage real estate investment trusts (REITs), and master limited partnerships (MLPs), while the fixed income sleeve focuses on fallen angel high yield bonds, international and emerging market high yield bonds, emerging market local currency bonds, collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), and long-duration U.S. Treasuries. Top holdings as of June 30, 2025, include VanEck Fallen Angel High Yield Bond ETF (ANGL; 33.61%), VanEck Energy Income ETF (EINC; 10.80%), VanEck Emerging Markets High Yield Bond ETF (HYEM; 8.71%), VanEck BDC Income ETF (BIZD; 8.16%), and VanEck Preferred Securities ex Financials ETF (PXF; 8.05%), with primary country exposure to the United States (65.25%) and sector weightings led by energy (22.27%) and financials (21.62%). Launched on November 1, 2022, and listed on NYSE Arca, INC was managed by VanEck, an investment adviser founded in 1955 (predecessor in 1955) and headquartered in New York. In a major strategic change announced on September 6, 2024, VanEck's Board of Trustees approved the closure and liquidation of the fund due to evaluations of performance, liquidity, assets under management, and investor interest; trading ceased after market close on October 8, 2024, with final liquidating distributions of net asset value paid to remaining shareholders on or about October 15, 2024, and potential final capital gains or income distributions subject to year-end tax reporting. The underlying Dynamic High Income strategy continues as a model portfolio offered through VanEck for financial advisors, targeting retail and institutional investors seeking diversified high income with risk management.
