Business
Bénéteau S.A. Bénéteau S.A. designs, manufactures, and markets leisure boats and related services globally as a leading player in the nautical industry; its Boat division offers over 135 models across nine brands including sailboats and motorboats under Beneteau, Jeanneau, and Excess; catamarans under Lagoon; motor yachts under Prestige and Monte Carlo Yachts; powerboats under Four Winns, Scarab, Wellcraft, and Delphia; while its Boating Solutions division provides boat rental, marinas, digital platforms like bandofboats.com, financing via SGB Finance, lease purchase, insurance, and inventory management. Founded in 1884 and headquartered in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, France, the company operates 16 production sites across France, the United States, Poland, Italy, Portugal, and Tunisia, serving customers in over 90 countries through a worldwide dealer network and employing more than 6,500 people. Recent developments include the October 2025 acquisition of BMS, a Mediterranean service center specializing in maintenance, customization, and refit of large Lagoon catamarans, expanding its premium service network to seven global centers; completion of the Bio Habitat subsidiary sale to Trigano earlier in 2025; and ongoing share buyback transactions, with €1 billion in 2024 revenue reflecting stabilized dealer inventories and accelerating order intake into late 2025.
