Business
Inter-Rock Minerals Inc. engages in the development, production, marketing and distribution of specialty dairy-feed nutritional products and mineral-based feed ingredients in the United States and Canada. The Company operates through two U.S. subsidiaries, Papillon Agricultural Company Inc. and MIN-AD Inc. Papillon develops, markets and distributes premium dairy-feed nutritional supplements for dairy consultants, feed suppliers, dairy-feed manufacturers and dairy producers; its product portfolio includes toll-manufactured high-protein and bypass-protein products; rumen prebiotic and probiotic products; rumen-enhancement products; mineral supplements; clostridia-control products for dairy cows; and MIN-AD products sold under an exclusive dairy-industry distribution and sales-management arrangement. MIN-AD quarries, processes, produces and markets specialty high-purity dolomite and clay products for dairy and beef cattle feed; its dolomite products provide magnesium and calcium and serve as rumen acid buffers, while its clay product functions as a moisture-absorbing anti-caking agent designed to reduce feed clumping and help limit mould and toxin growth. MIN-AD operates near Winnemucca, Nevada, with approximately 95% of its sales in the United States and the remainder principally in Alberta and British Columbia; approximately 80% of its annual production is sold to Papillon. Inter-Rock is domiciled in Canada, continued under the Business Corporations Act (Ontario), and headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. The Company’s common shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol IRO. In August 2026, Inter-Rock received TSX Venture Exchange acceptance to commence a normal course issuer bid to purchase for cancellation up to 1,000,000 common shares, representing approximately 4.6% of then-outstanding common shares, over a 12-month period beginning on or about August 29, 2026; Independent Trading Group Inc. acts as broker for the program.
