Jay Ushin Limited manufactures automotive security systems, switches, body parts and related components in India. The company produces lock and key sets, door latches and handles, defogger switches, heater control panels, remote locking systems, fuel units and HVAC components; these products serve four-wheeler passenger vehicles, two-wheelers and commercial vehicles from original equipment manufacturers including Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, Honda Cars India Ltd, Hyundai Motor India Ltd, Tata Motors Ltd, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd and others. A joint venture with U-Shin Ltd of Japan since 1986 and subsidiary of JP Minda Group, Jay Ushin Limited operates five manufacturing facilities in Gurgaon, Manesar, Chennai and Kolar in India, with headquarters in Delhi. Founded in 1986 and formerly known as Jay Yuhshin Ltd, the company maintains technical collaboration with U-Shin Ltd for product development and employs around 1600 people focused on research, innovation and cost efficiency. In 2024, Jay Ushin Limited re-appointed Ashwani Minda as Chairman and Managing Director for three years effective October 2024, appointed Deepak Jain as independent director, approved a dividend of Rs 3 per share for fiscal 2023-24 and authorized material related party transactions worth Rs 178 crore for fiscal 2024-25 with entities including JNS Instruments Ltd and U-Shin Ltd.
