ETF Series Solutions – Aptus July Buffer ETF is a U.S.-domiciled exchange-traded fund launched on October 13, 2025, and advised by Aptus Capital Advisors, LLC, a Fairhope, Alabama-based investment manager. Trading on the Cboe BZX Exchange under the ticker JULB, the fund seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, correspond to the share-price performance of the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust, up to a predetermined upside cap, while providing a 15% downside buffer against losses of the underlying ETF over each annual outcome period running from July 1 through June 30.
The fund provides defined-outcome, options-based U.S. large-cap equity exposure through FLEX Options referencing the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust; capped upside participation in SPY price appreciation; annual 15% downside-buffer protection, before fees and expenses; and periodic resets of the applicable cap and buffer at the beginning of each outcome period. JULB is designed principally for financial advisers, wealth-management clients and other investors seeking a tax-efficient exchange-traded vehicle that combines partial downside mitigation with participation in U.S. equity-market gains. The fund has a 0.25% total annual operating-expense ratio and is distributed by Quasar Distributors, LLC.
JULB forms part of Aptus Capital Advisors’ expanding suite of options-based buffered ETFs. The July fund was introduced alongside the Aptus January Buffer ETF, Aptus April Buffer ETF and Aptus October Buffer ETF as a quarterly series of low-cost 15% buffered funds. More recently, Aptus expanded its broader defined-outcome ETF platform through the April 2026 launch of a laddered buffer ETF and the May 2026 launch of quarterly deep-buffer funds offering a 30% downside buffer. In September 2026, Aptus also added senior leadership in digital strategy, wealth and client solutions, and client-specialist functions as it scaled its options-based ETF and custom-overlay businesses.
