Business
KGL Resources Limited is an Australian mineral exploration and development company focused on advancing the high-grade Jervois Copper Project in the Northern Territory; it explores for copper, silver, gold, lead and zinc deposits across its tenements including the Jervois mining leases covering 600 square kilometers, Yambah exploration licenses northeast of Alice Springs and the adjacent Unca Creek project spanning 72.7 square kilometers in the Bonya Metamorphics. The company holds 100% interests in these properties through its subsidiary Jinka Minerals Ltd and targets sustainable, low-cost copper production amid tightening global supply. Founded in 1998 and headquartered at Level 5, 167 Eagle Street in Brisbane, Queensland, KGL Resources operates solely within Australia with approximately 16 to 24 employees. In October 2025, the company completed an A$11 million institutional placement at A$0.14 per share, led by Resource Capital Fund which increased its stake to 9.9%, to fund enabling works, detailed engineering, long-lead procurement and site preparation at Jervois ahead of a final investment decision; it also established a Project Steering Committee with RCF technical experts to oversee execution and is evaluating multiple non-binding financing offers for construction. Previously known as Kentor Gold Limited until its name change in August 2013, KGL Resources benefits from prior environmental approvals and a mining management plan endorsed by the Northern Territory Government in January 2021.
