In late 2024, Binggrae announced plans to spin off its beverage and food production and sales division into a separate operating entity by May 2025, transforming the parent into Binggrae Holdings Co., Ltd. to enhance focus on investments, overseas expansion, and subsidiary management including Haitai Ice Cream acquired in 2020; the restructuring aims to improve market responsiveness and includes retiring 1 million treasury shares to boost shareholder value. Recent global initiatives encompass launching Melona and Ssamanco at Coles in Australia, participating in ANUGA 2025 in Europe and PRODEXPO 2025 in Russia for export growth, and strengthening positions in North America and Southeast Asia with localized flavors.
