Business
MGEN SOLUTIONS CO. LTD. is a South Korea-based technology and manufacturing company primarily engaged in information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure, electronic components manufacturing, artificial intelligence (AI)-driven disaster prevention solutions, and biotechnology research. Founded in 1973 and headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, the company operates across several core business divisions: the ICT Division, which specializes in broadband convergence network (BcN) construction, municipal private network installations, broadcasting communication network services, and home Internet of Things (IoT) systems; the Electrical and Electronics Division, which manufactures and supplies power transformers, inductors, and electronic coils primarily through production facilities in Vietnam for consumer electronics and industrial equipment; the Fire Safety and AI Disaster Prevention Division, which designs intelligent safety solutions, including the Alpha Shot stationary automated AI fire suppression system featuring multi-sensor thermal video analytics, and the Alpha Rover autonomous mobile firefighting robot equipped with LiDAR and optical sensors for unmanned hazard detection and initial suppression; and the Bio Division, which conducts research and development in xenotransplantation, bio-tissue engineering, and therapeutic cellular applications. In recent developments, MGEN Solutions has expanded its AI disaster safety footprint by participating in government-backed on-device AI pilot demonstration initiatives for high-risk industrial facilities and securing placement for its Alpha Shot system under the Public Procurement Service innovative product pilot purchase program. Furthermore, the company has restructured its operational portfolio by discontinuing non-core legacy businesses to focus on high-margin AI safety systems and executed corporate capitalization measures, including third-party allotment equity financing and convertible bond redemptions.
