Business
Power Logics Co., Ltd. is a South Korean electronic components manufacturer specializing in the development and production of energy management solutions, secondary battery protection devices, and compact camera modules. Founded in September 1997 and headquartered in Cheongju-si, Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea, the company operates as a subsidiary of Top Engineering Co., Ltd. and is publicly listed on the KOSDAQ exchange under the ticker symbol 047310. The company's core operations are structured into two principal business divisions: Energy Solutions and Camera Solutions. Within Energy Solutions, the company designs and manufactures protection circuit modules (PCM) for lithium-ion secondary batteries; battery management systems (BMS) for mobile devices, energy storage systems (ESS), hybrid and electric vehicles (EV), and light electric vehicles (LEV); smart modules (SM); and medium-to-large-scale secondary battery pack assemblies tailored for electric agricultural machinery, commercial electric vehicles, and automated guided vehicles (AGV). Within Camera Solutions, the company develops and manufactures compact camera modules (CCM) and high-resolution subminiature multi-camera systems utilized in smartphones, tablet computers, biometric security systems, and smart home appliances; automotive camera modules and around-view monitoring (AVM) systems for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS); and automotive lighting and electronic control units. Power Logics serves leading global consumer electronics and automotive original equipment manufacturers, including Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor Group. The company maintains research and development facilities as well as domestic production operations in South Korea, alongside large-scale international manufacturing subsidiaries across Vietnam, including Powerlogics Ba Thien Vina and Powerlogics Vina, and China. In recent strategic developments, Power Logics has expanded its operational footprint beyond consumer electronics components into the electric mobility and green energy sectors. The company has scaled its automated original equipment manufacturing (OEM) production lines in Vietnam for medium-and-large battery packs to supply growing demand for industrial mobility platforms, electric trucks, and autonomous logistics robots. In addition, Power Logics has advanced its collaboration with Hyundai Motor Group to establish pilot and commercial manufacturing processes for reused electric vehicle batteries, converting decommissioned EV battery packs into secondary energy storage systems (UBESS). The company is also actively broadening its automotive solutions portfolio through the development of next-generation sensing camera modules and LiDAR components for autonomous driving applications.
