Business
Amotech Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based electronic components manufacturer that develops, produces, and markets advanced material-based components, wireless communication solutions, and precision motor systems for the automotive, information technology, artificial intelligence, telecommunications, and consumer electronics industries. Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Incheon, South Korea, the company operates across three core business divisions: Ceramic Solutions, Antenna Solutions, and Motor Solutions. The company's comprehensive product portfolio includes multilayer ceramic capacitors, featuring high-voltage, high-capacitance, and high-reliability MLCCs designed for automotive electronic control units, battery management systems, artificial intelligence servers, optical transceivers, and 5G telecommunication infrastructure; circuit protection components, comprising chip varistors, electrostatic discharge filters, electromagnetic interference suppressors, and common mode filters; wireless antenna solutions, including near-field communication antennas, wireless power charging modules, global navigation satellite system patch antennas, ultra-wideband modules, and millimeter-wave radar antennas for mobile devices and automotive digital key systems; and precision motor solutions, consisting of high-efficiency brushless direct current motors, electronic water pump motors, active air flap actuators, seat cooling fan motors, and electric vehicle thermal management drive units. Amotech serves global original equipment manufacturers and Tier-1 automotive and technology suppliers through research, manufacturing, and sales operations in South Korea, China, Vietnam, the United States, Europe, and Japan, operating in coordination with Amo Group affiliates including Amo Green-tech and Amo S&T. In recent strategic developments, Amotech has accelerated its structural transition from legacy mobile components into high-value automotive electronics and artificial intelligence data infrastructure. The company has expanded its MLCC business into the AI and cloud infrastructure sector, securing commercial supply engagements for high-frequency optical transceivers and AI server hardware with global networking and semiconductor leaders, while actively qualifying components with major graphics processing unit manufacturers. Additionally, Amotech has expanded its production capacity in Vietnam to support rising demand for automotive-grade BLDC motors and specialized capacitors, broadened its automotive connectivity portfolio with next-generation ultra-wideband digital key solutions for electric vehicles, and optimized its operational product mix to achieve profitability across automotive electrification and AI hardware supply chains.
