Tplex Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based company primarily engaged in the manufacturing, processing, and distribution of stainless steel materials and rare metal products. Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, the company operates within the specialty metals and industrial materials sector. The company's core product and service portfolio comprises stainless steel round bars, square bars, flat bars, and hexagonal bars engineered for industrial machinery, plant equipment, and automotive components; hot-rolled and cold-rolled stainless steel plates, tailored cut sheets, and custom-processed structural plates for chemical processing facilities, shipbuilding, liquefied natural gas (LNG) transport, and industrial infrastructure; specialty and rare metal materials, including titanium, nickel alloys, tungsten, molybdenum, and vanadium; stainless steel wire rods and industrial piping solutions; and high-precision secondary processing services, including computer numerical control (CNC) cutting, peeling, shearing, and surface polishing. Tplex Co., Ltd. serves a broad base of industrial clients spanning the automotive, plant engineering, shipbuilding, precision machinery, and energy sectors across South Korea and key international export markets. In recent operational developments, the company has strategically expanded its product capabilities into the electric vehicle and green technology sectors, developing high-strength stainless steel materials and specialty alloy components for electric vehicle battery cases and module structures. Furthermore, Tplex Co., Ltd. has upgraded its manufacturing infrastructure at its Ansan production base by implementing smart factory automation systems to increase processing precision and yield for ultra-clean materials used in semiconductor and display manufacturing equipment. The company has also strengthened its raw material procurement partnerships with primary domestic steelmakers, including POSCO, while actively diversifying its critical rare metal supply channels to meet increasing demand across aerospace, defense, and advanced electronics industries.
