Business
Picogram Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based company primarily engaged in the development, manufacture, and distribution of water purification systems, filtration materials, environmental home appliances, and bio-healthcare solutions. Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Incheon, South Korea, the company operates across multiple business segments encompassing Water Purifiers, Filters, Home Appliances, and Bio-Cosmetics. Picogram provides a comprehensive portfolio of residential and commercial filtration products, which includes direct-flow and tankless countertop water purifiers, under-sink filtration systems, and filter pitchers marketed under its proprietary PUREAL brand; heavy-duty, multi-stage commercial filtration systems marketed under the Maxtream brand for cafes, restaurants, and foodservice operations; specialized filter materials and cartridges, including automated heat-compressed carbon blocks, melt-blown sediment filters, ultrafiltration modules, and reverse osmosis membranes; proprietary Plug-and-Play quick-change filter housings designed for tool-free consumer replacement; original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and original design manufacturer (ODM) water treatment systems; and eco-friendly household appliances, such as food waste disposers. In addition to its domestic operations, the company exports filtration components and finished appliances to more than 40 countries across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. In recent major developments, Picogram has diversified its core business into the bio-healthcare and cosmeceutical sector through a strategic equity investment of approximately 3 billion KRW to acquire a 12.7 percent stake in bio-platform company Eyesel. Leveraging this partnership, the company launched the CELLINstem brand of exosome-based skincare and personal care products, expanding its lineup to include targeted anti-aging serums, lifting creams, and hair ampoules. In addition, Picogram has broadened its industrial footprint through international technology licensing and production equipment export agreements for its patented carbon block manufacturing processes.
