Business
Bayan Investment Holding Company K.S.C.P. is a Kuwait-based public shareholding investment holding entity that engages in diversified investment activities, asset management, corporate advisory, and real estate investment across Kuwait, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and the wider Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Kuwait City, Kuwait, the company is publicly traded on Boursa Kuwait under the ticker symbol BAYANINV and serves high-net-worth individuals, institutional clients, corporate enterprises, and sovereign entities. The company structures its operations across four primary business segments: Investment Operations, Asset Management and Advisory Services, Real Estate, and Industrial and Commercial Operations. Bayan Investment Holding Company provides a systematic range of financial products and specialized investment services, including: asset and portfolio management encompassing discretionary and non-discretionary equity portfolios; collective investment schemes and mutual funds; direct investments, private equity financing, and joint venture participations in regional enterprises; corporate financial advisory services, including business valuations, capital restructuring, mergers and acquisitions advisory, and initial public offering (IPO) preparation; specialized investment research and market intelligence; liquidity management and treasury operations; and real estate investment management, including property acquisition, leasing, development, and holding assets for long-term capital appreciation. Through operating subsidiaries such as Arkan Holding Company K.S.C.C., Dar Al Dhabi Holding Company, and international manufacturing units including Arkan Industrial and Mining Company in Egypt, the group also participates in industrial manufacturing, mineral processing, ceramic glaze and frit production, and project management. In recent corporate and strategic developments, the company executed a comprehensive corporate reorganization and official name change from Bayan Investment Company to Bayan Investment Holding Company K.S.C.P. to align its legal framework with its expanded multi-sector holding structure. Over recent operating cycles, the company has undertaken portfolio rationalization and balance sheet optimization measures, including periodic capital adjustments, treasury share management authorizations, and strategic realignment toward resilient GCC and North African assets. Additionally, Bayan Investment Holding Company has integrated Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) frameworks across its subsidiary governance and investment evaluation processes, focusing on sustainable industrial operations, operational risk mitigation, and value creation across its diversified regional investments.
