Business
Mubarrad Holding Co. (K.S.C.C.) is a Kuwait-based Islamic Sharia-compliant holding company primarily engaged in heavy equipment leasing, transportation and logistics, real estate development, and diversified investment management across the Middle East. Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Kuwait City, Kuwait, the company operates as a key subsidiary of A'ayan Leasing and Investment Company K.S.C.P. and maintains an integrated operational presence spanning Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, and Egypt. The company operates through three core business segments: Transportation and Equipment Leasing, Real Estate and Contracting, and Investment. Through its Transportation and Equipment Leasing division, spearheaded by its wholly owned subsidiary Emdad Equipment Leasing Co., the company provides comprehensive industrial equipment leasing, vehicle fleet rentals, and technical maintenance services for corporate contractors, commercial enterprises, and government clients. Its equipment inventory comprises lifting and earthmoving machinery such as tower cranes, lorry cranes, wheel loaders, excavators, motor graders, and skid steer loaders; heavy hauling and transport equipment including dump trucks, flatbed trailers, and low-bed trailers; and auxiliary site machinery including mobile power generators, sand and vibrator rollers, and industrial air compressors. The company's logistics operations, supported by subsidiaries such as Omani Integrated Logistic Services SAOC, deliver supply chain management services encompassing dry and temperature-controlled warehousing; automated inventory management; cargo packaging; and local, regional, and cross-border freight forwarding and shipping logistics. Through its Real Estate and Contracting segment, executed via entities including Takatuf Real Estate Co. and Inshaa Al Ahlia Real Estate, the company engages in the acquisition, sale, development, and leasing of commercial and residential properties; general building contracting; facility management; and the development and operation of tourist villages. The Investment segment manages portfolios of Sharia-compliant equity securities, funds, and direct stakes in strategic operating entities. In recent corporate developments, Mubarrad Holding has undergone significant ownership consolidation following a mandatory acquisition offer executed by its parent entity, A'ayan Leasing and Investment Company, which completed its formal regulatory acquisition and share-collection processes under Boursa Kuwait and Capital Markets Authority oversight. Strategically, the company has concentrated on optimizing its regional subsidiaries, modernizing its heavy equipment and transportation fleets in Kuwait and Oman, divesting non-core assets, and expanding long-term corporate leasing and logistics contracts across GCC infrastructure and industrial sectors.
