Business
Dar Al-Thuraya Real Estate Co. KSCP is a Kuwait-based public shareholding company engaged in real estate investment, property development, commercial leasing, and asset management services. Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Kuwait City, Kuwait, the company operates as a subsidiary of Al Madar Finance and Investment Company KSCP. Dar Al-Thuraya Real Estate Co. conducts its operations across two primary business segments: Investment Properties and Investments. The company's portfolio of products and services comprises the acquisition, development, sale, and leasing of commercial, residential, and industrial properties; land parcel trading and site development; third-party property, building, and facilities management for commercial complexes, residential buildings, and industrial plots; real estate portfolio and fund administration; property maintenance and operational upkeep services; real estate consultancy, feasibility studies, and valuation advisory; and the organization and execution of public and private real estate auctions. The firm primarily serves institutional investors, corporate clients, and commercial and residential tenants across Kuwait and the wider Middle East region. In recent major company developments, the company amended its Articles of Association following Extraordinary General Assembly approval in late 2024, formally removing structural restrictions that required operations to adhere exclusively to Islamic Shariah standards, thereby adopting a conventional corporate and investment framework to broaden its financing capabilities, capital allocation strategies, and commercial partnerships. Concurrently, the company has undertaken portfolio rebalancing initiatives and corporate governance enhancements to optimize its yielding real estate asset base in alignment with its majority parent shareholder.
