- Kootenay Silver Inc. is a Canada-based exploration-stage company focused on the acquisition, exploration, and development of silver mineral properties primarily in Mexico's Sierra Madre region. The company holds interests in the flagship Columba high-grade silver project in Chihuahua state, featuring a June 2025 maiden NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate of 54 million ounces at 284 grams per tonne silver; the La Cigarra silver project in Chihuahua's Parral Mining District, with an updated November 2023 NI 43-101 resource of 51.57 million ounces silver measured and indicated at 102 g/t silver and 11 million ounces inferred at 102 g/t silver, plus gold, lead, and zinc credits; the Promontorio silver resource and La Negra silver project in Sonora state; all contributing to total NI 43-101 silver equivalent resources exceeding 214 million ounces measured and indicated plus 54.9 million ounces inferred.
