Business
Amcomri Group plc acquires and develops quality SME businesses in the UK engineering and industrial sectors, focusing on embedded engineering services and B2B manufacturing; its embedded engineering division provides specialist technical repair, refurbishment, reverse engineering, valve engineering and reconditioning, electronic control system obsolescence management, high voltage distribution system engineering, power electronics refurbishment, and large rotating shaft repair and upgrade services to major operators in rail, power generation, petrochemical, and electronics industries; its manufacturing division produces technical gaskets and joints, specialist printing, printed adhesive tapes (including through market leader Premier Limpet), and high-performance PTFE materials such as the ADFLON line as alternatives to Dyneon products. The group comprises 13 operating companies with approximately 375 employees, serving industrial, infrastructure, transportation, and selective B2B markets primarily in the UK and Ireland. Incorporated in 2022 and headquartered at 46-48 Beak Street, London, UK, Amcomri lists on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange (ticker: AMCO.L) and follows a "Buy, Improve, Build" strategy of acquiring established SMEs from owner retirements or sales, enhancing performance through operational support, and pursuing bolt-on expansions. Recently, Amcomri completes the acquisition of Randor Technologies Ltd (trading as Electronix), a Dublin-based industrial electronic repair and reverse engineering provider, for an initial €2.0 million plus €1.5 million deferred earn-out, marking its first non-UK purchase and expanding the embedded engineering division following prior buys of TP Matrix and Etrac; the group also secures major contracts such as TP Matrix's overhaul of Transport for London S8 fleet temperature control units and launches JA Harrison's in-house ADFLON PTFE materials.
