Business
Fiinu Plc develops open banking-enabled financial technology infrastructure and provides financial services focused on lending and foreign exchange brokerage. The company offers its core Plugin Overdraft platform, a bank-agnostic overdraft solution that integrates with customers' existing UK personal bank accounts via open banking technology to deliver unbundled overdrafts, automated repayments, top-ups, and credit-building features without requiring customers to switch banks; a white-label commercial model enabling lenders to deploy the platform across various banking infrastructures; and FX brokerage services through its subsidiary Everfex PSA, supporting over 4,000 import and export businesses primarily in Poland. Fiinu Plc operates mainly in the United Kingdom with expansion into European markets including Poland, targeting retail consumers managing household budgets and unexpected expenses as well as business clients in cross-border trade; it maintains subsidiaries such as Fiinu 2 Ltd, Fiinu Services Ltd, Fiinu Holdings Ltd, and Everfex PSA. Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Weybridge, Surrey, England, the company completed a reverse takeover of Everfex PSA for £12 million and rejoined London's AIM market in August 2025; it raised £1.41 million through a targeted fundraise led by QVP I in September 2025 and an additional £800,000 related to the acquisition; secured a £2 million convertible loan note from Manx Financial Group in September 2025 with Conister Bank scheduled to launch Plugin Overdraft in the UK; terminated a prior loan facility with GEM Global Yield in September 2025 by issuing shares; and reported half-year results to June 2025 showing widened losses amid administrative expenses and readmission costs while pursuing a UK banking licence application through a subsidiary.
