Business
LSL Pharma Group Inc. is a Canadian integrated pharmaceutical company engaged in the development, manufacturing and commercialization of sterile ophthalmic pharmaceutical products and contract development and manufacturing organization services, as well as pharmaceutical, cosmetic, natural health, personal-care and private-label consumer-health products. The Company operates through three principal segments: eye care, comprising sterile ophthalmic ointments and ophthalmic solutions; CMO, comprising formulation, development, manufacturing, packaging and related services for natural health products, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and personal-care products in solid, semi-solid and liquid dosage forms; and private label, comprising the commercialization of private-label over-the-counter products for major Canadian retail chains. Its eye-care portfolio includes sterile ophthalmic ointments, including erythromycin and Sterisporin products, and recently launched ophthalmic drops, including dorzolamide, brimonidine and dorzolamide-timolol, with additional eye-drop products under development and planned for launch. The Company also holds Canadian rights to a portfolio of 16 eye-drop products and has received Health Canada marketing approvals for six sterile ophthalmic solutions for glaucoma and allergy treatment. LSL Pharma operates five manufacturing facilities through Steri-Med Pharma Inc., LSL Laboratory Inc., Virage Santé Inc., Dermolab Pharma Ltd. and Laboratoire Du-Var Inc.; its private-label business is conducted through LSL MedPlus Inc., formerly Juno OTC Inc. Steri-Med manufactures sterile pharmaceutical ointments for human and animal use; LSL Laboratory develops and manufactures natural health products; Virage Santé manufactures and distributes proprietary natural-health brands and provides CDMO services; Dermolab Pharma formulates and manufactures natural health, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products; Laboratoire Du-Var develops and manufactures cosmetics, natural health, personal-care and animal natural-health products; and LSL MedPlus commercializes private-label products for Canadian retailers. The Company serves pharmaceutical, retail, consumer-health and third-party brand customers principally in Canada and is expanding its U.S. market access through Steri-Med’s FDA certification to manufacture ophthalmic ointments for the U.S. market. Founded through the development of its operating businesses, including Laboratoire Du-Var, established in 1947, Virage Santé, established in 1994, and Dermolab Pharma, established in 1985, LSL Pharma Group is headquartered in Boucherville, Quebec, Canada. Recent strategic developments include the November 2025 acquisition of Laboratoire Du-Var, expanding the Company’s CMO manufacturing capabilities; the January 2026 acquisition of Juno OTC, subsequently renamed LSL MedPlus, adding more than 40 private-label products and a third operating segment; the commercial launch in 2026 of dorzolamide, brimonidine and dorzolamide-timolol eye drops; a binding term sheet with Instapill Private Limited for Canadian private-label rights to loratadine 10 mg orally disintegrating tablets; and new commercial agreements and retail listings expected to generate more than C$4 million of recurring annual revenue, primarily in eye care and private label. LSL Pharma is also implementing a Health Canada remediation plan at Steri-Med, expanding sterile-ointment manufacturing capacity through a second production line targeted for commercial production by mid-2027, and centralizing logistics in a new 55,000-square-foot warehouse on Montreal’s South Shore.
