- Lumino Industries Limited is an India-based integrated power transmission and distribution infrastructure company engaged in the manufacture and supply of electrical conductors, power cables and wires, and in the execution of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects. The Company operates through Manufacturing and EPC segments, producing aluminium conductors, including all-aluminium alloy conductor reinforced (ACAR), aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR), all-aluminium conductor (AAC), AACSR, AL-59 and high-temperature low-sag (HTLS) conductors; aerial bundled cables; low-tension PVC and XLPE power, control and service cables; solar cables; instrumentation cables; railway signalling cables; underground jelly-filled quad cables; medium-voltage overhead covered conductors; UL 44 thermostat-insulated wires; and single-core service wires. It also provides conductor and cable design, testing, technical consultancy and research-oriented services for power transmission, distribution, railway, renewable-energy and industrial applications. The Company’s EPC offerings include survey, design, engineering, procurement, supply, erection, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance for transmission and distribution networks; 33/11 kV high- and low-tension lines; grid and distribution substations; 765/400/220/132/33 kV extra-high-voltage substations, including SCADA systems; HTLS reconductoring; railway electrification and 25 kV overhead equipment systems; solar power projects; and water-treatment, potable-water supply, effluent-reconditioning and zero-liquid-discharge solutions.
Established in 1989 and incorporated in 2005, Lumino Industries is headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, and operates two manufacturing facilities and four warehouses in West Bengal, with combined installed manufacturing capacity of 40,000 metric tonnes as of March 31, 2026. Its customers include Indian central and state power utilities, public-sector entities, EPC contractors and private infrastructure participants; it also supplies products to government-controlled electricity companies, public enterprises and electricity boards internationally. The Company has managed operations across 26 Indian states and four union territories and 17 countries, including the United States, Nepal, Bangladesh, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Mali, Burkina Faso and Côte d’Ivoire.
Recent developments include the completion of an initial public offering process in August 2026, comprising a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating to approximately INR5.0 billion and an offer for sale aggregating to approximately INR2.0 billion. Net fresh-issue proceeds are designated primarily for repayment or prepayment of borrowings, capital expenditure for equipment, machinery, civil works and interior development at an existing manufacturing facility, and general corporate purposes. Lumino is also expanding its Ranihati, Howrah manufacturing footprint through a facility intended to broaden production into medium- and high-voltage power cables, instrumentation cables, solar cables, railway signalling cables, flexible wires, overhead aluminium conductors and HTLS conductors; the facility was under construction and targeted for operational commencement from 2026. The Company has further expanded its EPC portfolio into water-management projects and continues to develop solar EPC capabilities, including a floating solar project at the Purulia Pumped Storage Scheme in West Bengal, while pursuing transmission, distribution, railway-electrification, substation and renewable-energy opportunities.
