FuelCell Energy, Inc. (Nasdaq: FCEL) designs, manufactures, installs, operates, and services stationary fuel cell and electrolysis platforms that generate ultra-clean power, capture carbon, produce hydrogen, and enable long-duration energy storage. The company offers its SureSource platform utilizing molten carbonate fuel cell technology for on-site power generation, utility grid support, microgrids, combined heat and power, and distributed hydrogen production; solid oxide fuel cell and electrolyzer systems for efficient hydrogen generation and power from fuels including natural gas, biogas, biofuels, and hydrogen; carbon capture, separation, and utilization solutions; as well as turn-key services encompassing development, engineering, procurement, construction, interconnection, and operations. FuelCell Energy serves diverse markets such as utilities, independent power producers, data centers, manufacturing, wastewater treatment, commercial and hospitality sectors, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, universities, healthcare, ports, oil and gas, and hydrogen for mobility, with primary operations in the United States, South Korea, Europe, and Canada. Founded in 1969 and headquartered in Danbury, Connecticut, the company operates the world's largest fuel cell park through its Gyeonggi Green Energy project in South Korea. Recent developments include securing $25 million in repeat debt financing from the U.S. Export-Import Bank in December 2025 to support additional fuel cell module shipments and services for the Gyeonggi Green Energy project expansion; advancing solid oxide platforms for hydrogen production and electrolysis commercialization; and ongoing strategic focus on utility-scale deployments, data center power, and international growth in clean energy solutions.
