Sponsored by an affiliate of Monroe Capital LLC, the company raised $316 million in its March 2021 initial public offering, with units, shares and warrants trading under tickers MACQU, MACQ and MACQW, respectively. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, at 311 South Wacker Drive, it completed its initial business combination with AdTheorent Holding Company, LLC, a machine learning-powered digital advertising platform, in December 2021, after which the post-combination entity renamed AdTheorent Holding Company, Inc., listed its common stock under ADTH and warrants under ADTHW on Nasdaq, providing approximately $100 million in net proceeds including a $121.5 million PIPE anchored by investors such as Hana Financial Group, Monroe Capital affiliates and Palantir Technologies.
