- Max Resource Corp. is a Canadian mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of copper, silver, gold and high-purity iron ore properties in South America. The Company’s principal assets comprise the wholly owned Sierra Azul Copper-Silver Project in northeastern Colombia; the Mora Gold-Silver Property in Colombia’s Middle Cauca Gold Belt, for which it holds rights to acquire 100% through its wholly owned subsidiary Maximum Company Colombia S.A.S.; and the Florália High-Purity Iron Project in Minas Gerais, Brazil, held through majority-owned Max Iron Brazil Ltd. Sierra Azul encompasses district-scale sediment-hosted and volcanic-hosted, manto-style copper-silver targets across the AM, CON and URU districts; exploration activities include geological mapping, rock-chip and channel sampling, soil and stream-sediment geochemistry, target generation and drill-target definition. The project is subject to an earn-in arrangement with Freeport-McMoRan Exploration Corporation, under which Freeport may earn up to an 80% interest by funding up to US$50 million of cumulative expenditures. Mora comprises an undrilled gold-silver exploration concession near Marmato, Colombia, containing historical artisanal workings, active mines, polymetallic vein systems and targets including BQ, BX and NAN; work programs include underground channel sampling, geological and topographic mapping, airborne LiDAR surveying, three-dimensional modelling, environmental baseline work and preparation of a Mining Technical Work Plan to support drilling and potential small-scale production. Florália is a hematite direct-shipping-ore exploration property located in Minas Gerais, Brazil, where the Company evaluates high-purity iron mineralization through surface channel sampling, geological interpretation and magnetic modelling; the property has a conceptual exploration target of 50 million to 70 million tonnes grading 55% to 61% iron, which is not a mineral resource or reserve. In 2025 and 2026, Max expanded its Colombian gold-silver portfolio through the Mora acquisition agreement, advanced systematic sampling and LiDAR-based drill targeting at Mora, and reported an expanded manto-style copper-silver mineralized footprint at Sierra Azul. In June 2026, Max and Max Iron Brazil completed debt-settlement and option arrangements with Bolt Metals Corp. relating to Florália, under which Bolt received rights to acquire a 100% interest in the property and issued shares and pre-funded warrants to Max entities; Bolt is responsible for funding the project under the arrangement. Max also pursued an OTCQB listing strategy in 2026. Founded in 1998, Max Resource Corp. is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and its common shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol MAX.
