Business
Morocco Strategic Minerals Corporation is a Canadian mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and, if warranted, development of mineral properties in Morocco and Canada, with a focus on copper, gold, silver, lithium and phosphate assets. Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Saint-Sauveur, Quebec, the company advances a portfolio that includes the Timarighine, Tifernine and BMR copper-gold-silver projects in Morocco, as well as the Sakami, Iserhoff, Lithium381, Sakami lithium and Dissimieux projects in Quebec; it targets strategic metal discoveries through staged exploration, option agreements and project-level development. In recent company developments, Morocco Strategic Minerals completed a non-brokered private placement in May 2026 that raised total gross proceeds of $7.5 million, reorganized its board and senior management in May 2026 with Guy Goulet named Executive Chair and Pierre-Olivier Goulet appointed President, Chief Executive Officer and Director, and entered a revised agreement in September 2026 under which Visible Gold Mines acquired a 51% interest in the Sakami Property with an option to acquire the remaining 49% subject to shareholder approval. The company also reported ongoing exploration and target-definition work across its Western High Atlas district in Morocco, including drilling and sampling programs at multiple copper and gold prospects, while continuing to pursue strategic alliances and regional expansion within its Moroccan mineral portfolio.
