Business
Mediterranean Towers Ltd. (MDTWF) owns, develops, constructs, and operates a leading chain of luxury retirement communities and sheltered housing facilities for the elderly population in Israel; the company provides a range of residential options including apartments and suites equipped with services such as medical care, nursing units, cultural activities, fitness centers, indoor pools, libraries, art galleries, digital learning programs, and intergenerational community events. Its network comprises seven operational complexes in Savion Junction, Bat Yam, Ramat Hasharon, Nordia, Kfar Saba, Jerusalem, and Ganei Tikva, accommodating approximately 1,650 residential units; it also holds land reserves for future development. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Ganei Tikva, Israel, the company targets affluent seniors seeking independent living with comprehensive support in prime urban and suburban locations across the country. In recent developments, Mediterranean Towers won a tender to acquire land in Or Yehuda for its largest-ever project, encompassing over 87,000 square meters with 500 housing units and nursing facilities at a cost of NIS 210 million; it continues construction of an eighth facility in Rehovot adding 250 units, expanding total capacity toward 2,400 units and 420 nursing beds; shareholder changes included a private placement of 4% equity to David Fattal for NIS 40 million and a 5% stake sale involving Chen Lamdan, while in 2025 the group issued a new series of bonds.
