Business
e-Novia S.p.A. operates as a deep-tech venture studio and industrial technology company specializing in Physical Artificial Intelligence, robotics, and advanced mechatronic engineering. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Milan, Italy, the company designs, scales, and commercializes proprietary hardware and software solutions that bridge academic research with industrial and commercial applications. e-Novia S.p.A. operates primarily across two core technological divisions: Vehicular Robotics and Collaborative Robotics, complemented by enterprise innovation consulting services. Its Vehicular Robotics division encompasses intelligent mobility and vehicle control systems, including electronic anti-lock braking systems (ABS) for e-bikes, speed pedelecs, and cargo bikes; adaptive suspension and chassis control systems; the YAPE modular autonomous mobility and navigation platform for last-mile logistics and off-highway special-purpose vehicles; connected telematics and fleet monitoring software; and sensorized structural components, such as Tokbo intelligent fasteners for predictive infrastructure maintenance. Its Collaborative Robotics division provides advanced human-machine interaction and spatial perception technologies, including the TouchDIVER Pro wearable haptic glove for simulating tactile, force, and thermal feedback in virtual reality and teleoperation; 3D machine vision and optical inspection systems for manufacturing automation; edge-computing pedestrian and vehicle flow measurement platforms for railway stations, airports, and retail facilities; and Hybitat modular green-hydrogen generation and storage systems for residential energy management. In addition to proprietary technology commercialization, the company delivers end-to-end innovation consulting, corporate venture building, artificial intelligence integration, and industrial design services to corporate clients across Italy and broader European markets. Listed on the Euronext Growth Milan exchange under the ticker E9IA, e-Novia S.p.A. serves original equipment manufacturers, municipal mobility providers, industrial enterprises, and infrastructure operators. In recent developments, the company has undertaken a strategic reorganization to accelerate its Venture Studio and Innovation Consulting business model while optimizing capital allocation. In March 2025, e-Novia completed the issuance of a convertible bond loan maturing in 2028 to strengthen its financial position and completed the sale of its equity stake in portfolio company Blubrake S.p.A. for 2.3 million euros to streamline group operations. Additionally, the company has broadened its industrial collaborations, advancing its residential green hydrogen joint venture Hybitat S.r.l. with SIT and partnering with Panasonic Industry on specialized thermal management and heat pump technologies.
