Business
Energy S.p.A. is an Italy-based system integrator and manufacturer specializing in advanced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and intelligent energy management solutions for renewable power generation. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Sant'Angelo di Piove di Sacco (Padua), Italy, the company develops, produces, and commercializes integrated hardware and software architectures designed to optimize electricity storage and self-consumption for residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and infrastructure applications. Energy S.p.A. is publicly listed on the Euronext Growth Milan market of Borsa Italiana under the ticker symbol ENY and serves electrical distributors, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractors, system installers, and energy service companies across Italy and key European markets, including the DACH region, France, Spain, and Eastern Europe. The company's comprehensive product and service portfolio includes: residential energy storage systems marketed under the zeroCO2 brand, featuring all-in-one storage cabinets, low-voltage and high-voltage lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery modules, and single-phase as well as three-phase hybrid inverters; commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage systems, such as the zeroCO2 XL and zeroCO2 Large modular platforms, high-voltage battery racks, bidirectional power conversion systems (PCS), and multi-megawatt containerized outdoor storage units; proprietary Energy Management Systems (EMS) and cloud-based IoT software platforms providing automated energy dispatch, predictive peak-shaving, grid-balancing functionality, remote tele-diagnostics, and monitoring for Renewable Energy Communities (CER); custom electrical switchboards and balance-of-plant automation components; and turnkey technical support services encompassing system engineering, grid interconnection certification, after-sales maintenance, commissioning, and professional training. In recent strategic developments, Energy S.p.A. has expanded its operational scope and vertical integration to reinforce its European market positioning. The company entered into a strategic joint venture with Pylon Technologies to establish localized European manufacturing and assembly lines for lithium-iron-phosphate battery modules at its Italian industrial hub. Concurrently, Energy S.p.A. expanded its digital infrastructure and energy automation capabilities through targeted acquisitions and equity participations in specialized IoT and EMS software engineering firms, while commercially rolling out new high-capacity multi-megawatt containerized BESS architectures engineered to comply with modern European grid code standards and facilitate industrial energy transition projects.
