Business
Nusco S.p.A. is an Italy-based manufacturing company primarily engaged in the design, production, and marketing of interior doors, security doors, and window systems for residential, commercial, and architectural construction and renovation sectors. Founded in 1968 and headquartered in Nola, Italy, the company organizes its operations into two core business divisions: Doors and Windows. The company's product portfolio comprises interior doors in solid wood, lacquered wood, engraved, and pantographed finishes; swing, sliding, and flush-to-wall door systems; armored entrance and security doors; energy-efficient windows and casements manufactured in polyvinyl chloride (PVC), aluminum, wood, and wood-aluminum composites; iron and aluminum security shutters; and protective external grilles. Nusco distributes its products through a multi-channel network that includes company-owned flagship showrooms, a network of franchised monobrand stores, authorized multi-brand dealers, and direct commercial contracts with construction developers across Italy and international markets. In recent developments, Nusco S.p.A. has pursued strategic initiatives to expand its international presence, optimize industrial efficiency, and achieve greater vertical integration. The company strengthened its European footprint through the cross-border acquisition of Romanian manufacturer and retailer Pinum Doors & Windows S.r.l., creating an operational and export hub for Central and Eastern Europe. To enhance production autonomy and margin control, the company initiated the internalization of window and fixture manufacturing previously handled via third-party supply arrangements, deploying advanced automated cutting and processing technology from industrial partner Fom Industrie. In addition, Nusco continues to expand its branded retail franchising footprint across regional markets and has executed an industrial sustainability agreement with Geco Renew Group to install photovoltaic generation systems across its manufacturing facilities, supporting operational decarbonization and long-term energy cost optimization.
