Through its dedicated subsidiary, Osai Green Tech S.p.A. SB, the company develops automated recycling and urban mining systems engineered for the disassembly, sorting, and extraction of critical raw materials and noble metals from waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), lithium-ion batteries, printed circuit boards, photovoltaic panels, and electronic components. Additionally, the company provides technical consulting, system integration, custom software engineering, preventive maintenance, retrofitting, and spare parts services. In recent strategic developments, OSAI expanded its semiconductor testing lineup with the commercial launch of the NeoKGD test handler platform for OSAT and power electronics manufacturers; advanced its circular economy operations through a strategic alliance between Osai Green Tech and Haiki+ to deploy industrial plants for e-waste material recovery; engaged in critical raw material sustainability initiatives, including the European New-RE project; and formalized its corporate sustainability mandate by adopting Società Benefit status. Founded in 1991, OSAI Automation System S.p.A. is headquartered in Parella, Italy, maintains operating subsidiaries in Germany, the United States, and China, and distributes its technologies globally through a network of international commercial and service partners.
