Guinness Atkinson Funds - SmartETFs Advertising & Marketing Technology ETF (MRAD) is an actively managed exchange-traded fund that invests at least 80% of its net assets in publicly-traded equity securities of domestic or foreign companies across multiple sectors positioned to benefit from disruptions in the advertising and marketing industries. The ETF focuses on advertising technology (AdTech) and marketing technology (MarTech) companies that provide, support, or enable programmatic advertising, targeted and data-driven advertising, marketing automation, increased marketing efficiency, and personalization; this encompasses digital, print, broadcast, and out-of-home media, as well as firms enhancing customer experiences through automation. MRAD targets growth and value stocks of companies in communication services, media and entertainment, advertising, and marketing services sectors globally, benchmarking against the MSCI World Index (Net Return) while employing fundamental analysis for portfolio construction.
