Business
Aurelius Technologies Berhad, founded in 1993 and headquartered in Kulim, Malaysia, operates as a global electronic manufacturing services (EMS) provider specializing in industrial electronic products. The company’s core offerings include manufacturing services for printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA), sub-assemblies, box build and system build products, alongside test development and testing services. It also delivers new product introduction (NPI) support, prototype development, advanced surface mount technology solutions, test systems development, engineering services, and supply chain and quality management across its operations. Aurelius serves diverse industries such as communications and Internet of Things (IoT) products, multicomponent semiconductor modules, energy solutions, power electronics, and lighting products through its integrated production facility located in the Kulim Hi-Tech Park. In recent years, Aurelius Technologies has achieved significant growth with revenue exceeding RM600 million in 2024, driven by new product rollouts, a stronger US dollar against the Malaysian Ringgit, and an expanding order book from global customers. Strategic operational enhancements include the full integration of a proprietary manufacturing execution system (MES) affording complete traceability and enabling customized testing programs, strengthening the company’s position as a leading EMS provider for communication devices and other segments. The company recently made strategic advances by acquiring industrial land in Kulim Hi-Tech Park to support capacity expansion. Additionally, Aurelius has diversified and broadened its portfolio through major acquisitions and partnerships, including the acquisition of Xylem Inc.'s international smart meter division (outside North America) in 2025, augmenting its capabilities in smart metering with significant revenue contribution and employee base. These moves align with Aurelius’s ongoing strategic focus on expanding its product range and services to capture growth opportunities in technology-driven sectors. Aurelius Technologies Berhad operates primarily within Malaysia but serves multinational corporations worldwide, leveraging a comprehensive EMS model that includes prototyping, pilot builds, mass production, and direct customer fulfillment. The company is publicly listed and maintains a workforce of over 1,200 employees, continuing to expand through technological innovation and strategic acquisitions to enhance its position in the semiconductor equipment and materials industry.
