In recent developments, BCM Alliance has executed a strategic pivot to sharpen its core focus on the expanding medical and healthcare technology sectors. The company agreed to divest its commercial laundry operating subsidiaries, the CS Laundry Group (comprising CS Laundry System Sdn. Bhd. and Century Pavilion Sdn. Bhd.), for a cash consideration of RM18 million, reallocating approximately RM15 million of the net proceeds toward expanding its portfolio of advanced medical devices, life science technologies, and surgical imaging systems. To enhance its capital structure and support long-term business expansion, the group has implemented capital management measures, including a 10-to-1 share consolidation and proposed private share placements, while also changing its financial year-end from December 31 to June 30 to align its corporate planning and reporting cycles.
