Business
CJ Century Logistics Holdings Berhad is a Malaysia-based integrated logistics and supply chain management solutions provider. Founded in 1970 and headquartered in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia, the company operates as a key subsidiary of South Korea-based CJ Logistics Corporation, a member of the CJ Group. The company manages extensive supply chain operations organized across two primary business segments: Total Logistics Services and Procurement Logistics Services. Its Total Logistics Services segment delivers comprehensive supply chain solutions comprising international freight forwarding, including ocean freight for full-container load (FCL) and less-than-container load (LCL) shipments, air freight forwarding, customs clearance, tariff classification, import-export documentation, and marine cargo insurance; contract logistics and warehousing services, featuring bonded and non-bonded ambient warehousing, temperature-controlled cold room and cold chain storage, chemical warehousing, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), computerized inventory management, order fulfillment, and value-added services such as pick-and-pack, kitting, labeling, and repacking; domestic and overland distribution networks, offering prime mover and container haulage, dry and refrigerated trucking, dedicated fleet management, milk-run distribution, and heavy-lift project cargo logistics; cross-border overland freight services connecting Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand; and offshore logistics operations, including ship-to-ship (STS) transfer support for petroleum products. Its Procurement Logistics Services segment provides original equipment manufacturing (OEM) and contract assembly services for international consumer electronics brand owners, encompassing component sourcing, procurement scheduling, sub-assembly and final assembly of electrical home appliances including televisions, air conditioners, and audio equipment, quality assurance testing, and direct-to-market distribution. CJ Century Logistics serves multinational corporations, industrial manufacturers, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) distributors, retailers, and electronics manufacturers throughout Malaysia and Southeast Asia. In recent operational and strategic developments, the company realigned its corporate portfolio by divesting its loss-making express courier and parcel delivery operations to eliminate price-war headwinds and refocus capital on core business-to-business (B2B) contract logistics and freight management. Furthermore, the company integrated the operations of CJ Korea Express Malaysia to consolidate CJ Group's Malaysian logistics assets, expanded modern warehouse capacity with advanced automation across its flagship hubs in Selangor, and scaled cross-border trucking corridors to support growing intra-ASEAN trade demand.
