Founded in 1976 and headquartered in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, the company operates across Malaysia and Australia through principal operating subsidiaries including FBG Builder Sdn Bhd, FBG Land Sdn Bhd, and Fajarbaru Dynamic Development Sdn Bhd. The company operates through several core business segments: Construction, which provides civil engineering, infrastructure development, transport systems, earthworks, and structural construction services for commercial high-rises, residential developments, healthcare facilities, transport terminals, and defense airfield infrastructure; Property Development, which designs, develops, and markets residential communities, commercial hubs, centralized labor quarters, and master-planned townships in Malaysia as well as residential properties in Melbourne, Australia; Trading, which sources and supplies construction and building materials; Logging and Timber, which manages timber extraction, processing, and the wholesale distribution of timber products; Plantation, which manages commercial agricultural estates focused on durian cultivation; and Logistics, which provides commercial freight and transportation services. In recent strategic developments, the company rebranded from Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd to FBG Holdings Berhad in August 2025, simultaneously renaming its primary subsidiaries to FBG Builder Sdn Bhd and FBG Land Sdn Bhd to align with its modernized corporate structure. In 2025, the company entered into a master purchase and development agreement with the Penang Development Corporation to acquire a 51.172-acre parcel in Batu Kawan for RM111.45 million to develop the MediCity master development, supported by a renounceable rights issue with warrants. Additionally, the group expanded its joint venture partnership with Avionics Pty Ltd for the multi-stage redevelopment of the Royal Malaysian Air Force Base in Butterworth under the Australian Department of Defence, secured a RM246.10 million building contract for the AdisonWest development in Johor, and formed a joint venture with Care Dynamic Sdn Bhd to construct a centralized labor quarters facility in Negeri Sembilan.
