- MN Holdings Berhad is a Malaysia-based infrastructure utilities construction and engineering company specializing in power infrastructure, underground utilities, and substation engineering. Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, the company operates primarily across Malaysia, serving national utility providers, renewable energy developers, telecommunications corporations, industrial entities, and hyperscale data center operators. The company conducts its operations through two core business divisions: Underground Utilities Engineering and Substation Engineering. Its Underground Utilities Engineering segment provides engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) solutions, comprising the installation, laying, and commissioning of underground power transmission and auxiliary cables; telecommunications and fiber-optic network infrastructure; water distribution pipelines; and sewerage network systems utilizing trenchless construction technologies such as horizontal directional drilling, pipe jacking, and open-cut excavation methods. Its Substation Engineering segment encompasses the turnkey design, civil and structural engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning of indoor and outdoor electrical substations for medium-, high-, and extra-high-voltage systems; the integration of gas-insulated switchgear, air-insulated switchgear, power transformers, and control equipment; the assembly and distribution of electrical power control systems, panels, and medium-voltage switchgears; and post-commissioning maintenance, repair, and retrofitting services. Through its key operating subsidiaries, MN Power Transmission Sdn. Bhd. and MN Utilities Engineering Sdn. Bhd., the company also provides mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) fit-out services and solar photovoltaic (PV) interconnection engineering. In recent strategic developments, MN Holdings Berhad transferred its listing from the ACE Market to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad under the Construction sector in August 2026. The company has substantially expanded its footprint in the data center power supply ecosystem, securing significant EPCC contracts for data center consumer landing stations and dedicated high-voltage main substations in southern Malaysia, including a landmark RM216 million contract. Furthermore, the company has entered into strategic joint ventures, including a partnership with Founder Energy Sdn. Bhd. to tender for large-scale solar PV initiatives with Tenaga Nasional Berhad, as well as collaborative agreements with engineering partners for data center MEP fit-outs and gas-insulated substation projects.
