The company serves industrial metal smelters, solar component manufacturers, silicone chemical producers, general construction contractors, and property developers across Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America. Founded in 2002 as an associate of Press Metal Aluminium Holdings Berhad and headquartered in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia, the company operates silicon smelting facilities in Samalaju Industrial Park, Bintulu, Sarawak, alongside facade engineering facilities across Southeast Asia and East Asia. In recent operational developments, PMB Technology has executed multi-phase smelting capacity expansions at its Samalaju manufacturing complex to scale silicon metal production for global solar energy and electronics supply chains. To support its low-carbon production profile, the company has secured long-term renewable hydropower power purchase agreements with Sarawak Energy Berhad, while concurrently expanding its international distribution network and securing major regional facade contracting mandates for landmark commercial and infrastructure projects.
