Pan Merchant serves a diversified global clientele across several heavy and process industries, including edible oil refining, food and beverage processing, sustainable aviation fuels and biofuels, municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment, oleochemicals, pharmaceuticals, chemical processing, and mineral mining. The company operates manufacturing and assembly plants located in Ipoh, Perak (comprising the Jelapang and Lahat facilities) and maintains an international sales, support, and spare parts distribution network spanning Malaysia, Singapore, the Netherlands, the United States, and India through PMI Technology India Private Limited, exporting over 80 percent of its manufactured systems across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. In recent strategic and operational developments, Pan Merchant completed its initial public offering on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia in June 2025, raising RM67.55 million to fund capital expenditure for advanced machinery acquisition, manufacturing facility upgrades, R&D initiatives, and international market penetration. In June 2026, the company secured a major RM26.49 million contract for Stage 1 of the Sungai Rasau Water Supply Scheme in Selangor to supply and commission advanced filter press systems and ancillary equipment, followed by a RM17.00 million contract award in July 2026 for membrane filtration systems in the food processing industry. The group continues to execute a strategic diversification program, expanding its technological footprint into high-growth clean technology sectors, including sustainable aviation fuels and municipal wastewater treatment infrastructure.
